  • Have a valid credit card and the cardholder must present the plastic upon opening the rental contract.

The cardholder may acquire an “Additional Driver” option to extend coverage and use of the vehicle to a third party.

If I make a reservation, why don’t they give me the make and model of vehicle I prefer?

Upon making a reservation, what you are selecting is a vehicle category, not a specific model. The categories group vehicles according to their characteristics, passenger capacity and trunk / luggage space. Each group may contain various automotive makes and models, all with the standards of quality and comfort with which we are committed to our clients. Upon reservation, TEN Car Rental assures you delivery of a vehicle in the category reserved.

May I take my rental car to the United States?
TEN Car Rental offers an extra cost, special coverage insurance to the United States which must be acquired at contract signing. The insurance covers all legal requirements to travel in the US.
What if I have and accident but it was not my fault?
he moment the vehicle is delivered, you become responsible for all loss or damage caused while the vehicle is in your power, having to absorb all costs for damages or loss. However, by acquiring our Ten “No Worries” Protection Program, you will not be responsible for any contingency, the deductible is 0% and thereby there are no costs to cover.
Can I rent a car without credit card and pay with cash?
Debit Cards and cash can be used as a final method of payment upon returning the vehicle in acceptable state and on time, however the only way to obtain a guarantee at the moment of contracting the service is with a credit card.
Is it possible to pre-pay with my credit card and request the vehicle be delivered to another person?
For security reasons, the signatory on the contract must also be the credit card holder with which the pre-payment is made. However, the Additional Driver option is available, which is to say the person paying can enable a third party to drive as well as extend the contracted coverage to that person.
What coverage is available for my rental car?

All of our rates include our No Worries Protection Program, which entails Broad Coverage.

This protection does not cover charges for hauling, towing, storing, fines, license plates, loss of keys, damage to tires, suspension or original automobile documents.

Is it necessary to acquire coverage even if my credit card provides insurance for my rental car?

What credit cards does TEN Car Rental accept?
TEN Car Rental accepts the most recognized cards, such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Can I rent a car with a debit card?
The funds linked to a debit card do not constitute a line of credit and therefore it is not possible to request a guarantee on them.
Can I make reservations from my smart phone?

Can the bill be made to another person or company?
The bill can be issued to any company or person desired, even if different than the signatory of the rental contract.
If my flight is late, will my reservation be cancelled?
At TEN Car Rental we have 1 hour tolerance for delays. However, if you notify us of the delay by sending us an email at This email address is being protected from spambots.
