One of the advantages of destinations such as marvelous as Los Cabos is that it offers a great variety of activities. Whether you’re in the mood to party, to relax or to practice any sport or just have a desire to step out of your daily routine, you’ll find that Los Cabos has everything to offer. And as if that wasn’t enough, its privileged location allow you to visit different interest sites from the southern part of the state of Baja California Sur!

There are so many options, we’ve decided to share with you a summary of those attractions that we consider to be the most important around the area. Pick one or choose all to discover during your next visit. Just get your hands on the wheel and get ready to experience an adventure…

Cabo San Lucas

Home of the icon that defines our destination: The Arch. Its night life is highly renowned throughout the world, just like its cuisine, offering a top level culinary experience. It has a luxurious Navy where Puerto Paraiso is located, a shopping center that holds the most prestigious brands in the market. At the docks you’ll be able to take a boat ride along the bay in order to appreciate attractions, such as Lover’s Beach, Divorce Beach, the Pelicano Stone, El Medano Beach and of course, Land’s End.

Tourist Corridor Los Cabos

On a path of over 20 miles long (33 kilometers) that brings Cabo San Lucas together with San Jose del Cabo, you’ll find the Tourist Corridor, a beautiful route surrounded by the ocean, top class hotels, majestic golf courses and more. Widows Beach, Chileno, Santa Maria Beach and El Tule are some of the beaches you simply can’t miss.

San Jose del Cabo

Is the municipal capital of Los Cabos, which makes it the venue of numerous events. Among all of its attractions, the ones that stand out are: the Josefino Estuaries, Costa Azul Beach, La Playita and its colorful Historic Downtown filled with Colonial architecture, art galleries and Mexican charm. Every Thursday during the months from November through June there’s an Art Walk, a path where artisans and all different types of artists fill the streets with their talent, culture and color.

Cabo del Este

Taking the long road towards La Paz you’ll find Cabo del Este, an area made up by different bays, such as Los Frailes, Los Barriles and Buena Vista, extensive pieces of virgin lands where you can go camping.  

You can also visit the Cabo Pulmo National Park, the perfect spot for those passionate about diving, due to the hundreds of marine species that live around this coral reef.

La Paz

Another jewel that la Baja has to offer is La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur. La Paz holds its signature pier, El Malecón, embellished with sculptures from different artists; one of Mexico’s most beautiful beaches, Balandra Beach; and a sanctuary from nature: Espiritu Santo Island, a protected natural area where you can swim with sea lions or let yourself be dazzled by the amazing rock formations on a trip beyond comparison. 

Todos Santos

Is one of the two magical towns in the state of Baja California Sur. It is an interesting and picturesque town filled with art, culture and history.  This oasis standing right in the middle of the desert offers its visitors great attractions, such as the Mision de Nuestra Señora del Pilar and the highly acclaimed, Hotel California.

Loreto

Heading towards the North, approximately 215 miles (350 kilometers) away from La Paz, there is Loreto, a magnificent magical town filled with contrasts. Loreto is a traditional fishermen’s village with crystal clear water beaches. Visit the Isla Danzante or Isla Coronado for snorkeling and diving. And once there, you can also visit the Mision de San Javier, as well as the Mision de Nuestra Señora de Loreto.

Without a doubt, you’ll need more time to discover it all. The good news is… there’s always chance for a next time!
